Urban Social Coffee
overview.
Urban Social Coffee Co. approached me with their name and a vision to become a community-driven café, but without an established brand system. The goal was to create a distinctive identity that felt at home on historic Main Street Newmarket while standing out in a competitive market and scaling seamlessly across physical and digital touchpoints.






strategy, role & approach.
I led the brand from concept through execution as a hands-on Creative Director.
I developed the creative direction, brand voice and scalable visual system. The identity balances bold typography with hand-drawn illustrations and organic coffee stain details to achieve a refined yet playful personality.

The brand was implemented across storefront signage, retail interiors, website, social, and print materials. Every material detail was carefully curated to ensure the physical space embodied the brand experience.
The result is a cohesive, personality-driven brand system that successfully launched the café and established a strong foundation for growth.
